In August, Dr. Darin Gray, 🌟 DoD STEM Ambassador and esteemed Professor at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, proudly presented the 2024 Jim Valentine Awards to seven outstanding students. 🎓✨ This marks the second year these scholarships have been awarded, continuing a legacy of excellence.
Jim Valentine, the late husband of Coach Kathy Kemper, passed away in the spring of 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. 💔 A steadfast supporter of the CS@SC Camps, Jim lived a vibrant, active life, always pushing boundaries, launching companies, and investing in the future with a fearless spirit. 🌱🚀 Coach Kemper created the scholarship in his memory.
