Institute for Education (IFE) founders Coach Kathy Kemper Jim Valentine, along with daughters Kelsey and Christina Kemper Valentine welcomed neighbors and friends of IFE to their home for their Sixth Annual Champagne Holiday Kick-Off on Thanksgiving Day 2019. The Holiday Toast has become a Washington tradition for the IFE and Kemper Valentine team, kicking off the holiday season with gratitude and hope.
Diplomats from around the world were in attendance, including Ambassador Hunaina al-Mughairy of Oman, Ambassador Ashok Mirpuri and Gouri of Singapore, Ambassador Erzhan Kazykhanov and Danara of Kazakhstan, Ambassador Bergdis Ellertsdottir of Iceland, Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan of Armenia, Ambassador Stanislav Vidovic of Slovenia, Ambassador Bojan Vujic of Bosnia and Herzegovina with their families. In classic IFE fashion, members of the media, #CivicTechService leadership, technologists, sports players, politicians, and IFE interns and fellows mingled together in a warm and welcoming environment. Children played corn hole, ping pong, basketball, and with indoor drones. Attendees toasted with Veuve Clicquot before heading off for afternoon celebrations with family.
