On Wednesday, August 29 IFE celebrated its Third Annual Social Secretaries Lunch honoring the hard work of our diplomatic communities gate keepers with co-host Rosemarie Pauli, former Acting Chief of Protocol. The United States Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Sean Lawler, was our special guest. Over 50 gatekeepers braved the hot sun to attend this special lunch where secretaries get to meet face-to-face in a casual manner, many for the first time, putting together faces with emails and phone calls. The lunch was be held on The Great Lawn at the historic Congressional Country Club.
