On May 24th the Institute for Education honored Belgium’s top Diplomat and IFE Diplomatic Steward, H.E. Johan C. Verbeke, with its 2016 International Diplomacy Award. Presenting the award were IFE’s Distinguished Fellow, The Hon. Dr. R. David Edelman, and IFE Founder and CEO, Coach Kathy Kemper. Preceding the dinner IFE Fellow, Ms. Joanne Ke, performed “Fantaisie-Impromptu” by Frederic Chopin and “I Giorni” by Ludovico Einaudi on piano. Previous award recipients include Secretary Lawrence Eagleburger, Christopher Caine, H.E. Jan Matthysen, Ina Ginsburg and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
