On February 6, 2015, Coach Kathy Kemper hosted the third annual IFE Fellows Black Tie Dinner at her home in Washington, D.C. During the dinner, Fellows showcased wines and cheeses they brought, highlighting histories and tastes the diners would find interesting. Over the gourmet meal, IFE fellows discussed a variety of far-reaching topics, such as the importance of social media and what it might mean for politics in the future. After dinner, Coach Kemper led guests through her home on an art tour, where Fellows acted as docents about the artists that were featured. The dinner concluded with a poll of who the Fellows thought would be nominated for the 2016 Republican presidential candidate.
In attendance were Ali Wyne, Elise Ravenscroft, Eric Stroo, Genelle Quarles, George Zaidan, Georgie Milanovic, Joanne Ke, Jordan D’Eri, Kelsey Kemper Valentine, Mark Schulte, Nick Seaver, Quenton Horton, and Dr. R. David Edelman. IFE Interns who assisted at the dinner included Julia Ravenscroft, Rodrigo Sorto, and Malissa Abdulla.
Contributed by IFE Fellow Jordan D’Eri.
